I'm gonna be a good kid and heed my prof's advice to go take a look how a protest is really like. Sometime back, I had to do a story on IMF and there was the hoo-haa over the ban on activists, which I sought my prof's opinion on. And he said that many Singaporean students don't have a clear idea of what a protest is really like, mainly because of our lack of exposure to it. So he suggested that I'd go take a look when I'm in US, which is exactly what I am going to do!
